[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On September 26th, we hosted our 4th Annual Bourque Family Foundation 7.7K at Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton, MA. We were thrilled to once again have this event in-person, as last year was a virtual event. Nearly 500 runners and walkers participated to benefit the Bourque Family Foundation and we had an amazing time participating in the run and enjoying our post-race celebration with food, drinks, and live music.
This year, our 7.7K Road Race supported two amazing young men: AJ Quetta and Jake Thibeault! The Bourque Family Foundation matched all donations and $15 of each registration up to $5,000 for both AJ Quetta and Jake Thibeault. Our beneficiaries had a whole team of runners and walkers supporting them, and because of their overwhelming support we are able to donate $10,000 to AJ Quetta and $21,675 to Jake Thibeault.
As they crossed the finish line, every racer received a custom finisher medal and commemorative race long sleeve shirt. The post-race party included a free beer from Nantucket Craft Cocktails and Goose Island Beer Company as well as live music from Franciox Simard and Redemption. We celebrated during the post-race party where racers, family, and friends could come together and enjoy the beautiful fall afternoon.
