August 23 – This past Thursday we hosted our 3rd Annual Bourque Family Foundation Bourque Golf Tournament at Golf Club of New England in Stratham, New Hampshire. This year Ray was joined by Ryan Bourque, Rick Middleton, Keith Foulke, Steve DeOssie, Kevin Chapman, Steve Leach, Andrew Raycroft, Bruce Cassidy, Reggie Lemelin, Billy Jaffe, Tuukka Rask, Garry Galley, Henri Kontinen, Bob Beers, Bob Sweeney, Andy Brickley, Barry Pederson and Mike Eruzione. Kicking off the day each of our celebrity golfers participated in a Closest-to-the-Pin competition with Keith Foulke being crowned the champion, placing his shot a within a foot of the cup.
The charity round began with a shotgun start and winded through Arnold Palmer’s creation, the links at Golf Club of New England, and featured several exciting on-course activations including an air cannon, longest drive, hole-in-one and putting challenges.
Auctions, Donations & Award Ceremony
The day wrapped up with a reception, award ceremony and live auction led by Ray himself. During the reception, the Foundation presented a charitable donation for $30,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Salisbury. All proceeds from the tournament will assist the Bourque Family Foundation in continuing to provide help to communities and causes in the time of need.
