On January 30th, 2019, the Bourque Family Foundation hosted their inaugural Black and White Gala. The Bourque Family traded in their jerseys for jackets and enjoyed a snowy winter night at the Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston, MA. Joined by 300 friends of the Foundation, the Bourque Family enjoyed an evening of elegance with exquisite food, wonderful live music, and a live and silent auction.
The Bourque Family Foundation presented a $50,000 check to Melmark New England.
Melmark New England strives to serve children, adults and their families affected by a broad range of intellectual disabilities. They provide evidence-based, educational, vocational, clinical, residential, healthcare and rehabilitative services, personally designed for each individual in an environment of warmth, care and respect. The Bourque Family Foundation’s donation will contribute to renovating the school’s recreational facilities.
Our inaugural Black and White Gala was a great success and would not have been possible without the continued support of all the sponsors, donors, and friends of the Foundation. We are grateful to have the opportunity to reach a multitude of worthwhile causes and contribute to the successes of many fundraising events throughout New England.
